Well, I've been blogging for a long time, but I didn't really have a purpose for blogging, and so now... I've decided it would be good to go ahead and focus one blog specifically on my crochet projects.
A little about me.
I'm a mom. Been a mom for almost 20 years. But I only have one kid, who works and is in college. So he's not around much anymore, and being single, that leaves me a lot of time on my hands. I have a lot of activities and different interests, and this blog will hopefully serve as an outlet to share, and inspire others.
In addition to making these projects, I also sell my projects to benefit an organization I love, Restore Haiti. This organization is dedicated to working with a small community in Jacmel, Haiti, to bring Food, Education and medical assistance and by doing so, empowering the people there to be the change needed to succeed. 75% of the proceeds from the sales of my items are given back to Restore Haiti's general giving fund to help cover administrative expenses and travel expenses. They are a 100% volunteer run organization, however they still have expenses for mailing, printing, and other needs. When necessary, the funds will assist the Secondary students, the feeding program and other projects as required.
